Supervision – with heart and the creative arts

Supervision, doesn’t need to be boring
Clinical supervision is not only a valuable reflective process and bouncing board for your thoughts and experiences within business or life… it is a guide to building a sustainable practice and self-care as one will often use the self in the important work of counselling and within the health care space.
Sheree is trained in using the Step UP Model of Supervisory Care, with a particular emphasis on Support, Tracking, Educating, enhancing quality Performance, remembering U (you) and preventing burnout as well as helping to develop your Practice needs. Supervision with Heart, emphasises the difference being around work/life balance, self-care and the use of the self while Supervision with Art, highlights tools and techniques refined through years of work as a Creative Arts therapist.
Together, we will personalise the time with pre-session preparation, and will hone in on
intervention strategies, ethical considerations, effective methods to enhance clinical practice and more.
Art materials such as papers, paint, pencils, texters and whatever you’d like to use can offer deeper reflection and insights that go beyond ‘talk’ and bring themes to light with the inclusion of Art therapy, from a fully qualified Arts therapist.
Supervision is held over video or in an Art Studio at Narellan, NSW. While supervision is a compulsory practice for many, it can also be used as a form of relaxed supervision for those without this requirement. Elements of art therapy are woven throughout to help you think outside the box and engage in the art of play, which is key to learning at every age.
Individual sessions, 60mins and Group sessions 90mins.
